In a recent interview with Bangalore Times, actress Manvita Kamath discussed her involvement in various mediums within the Kannada film industry. She shared her excitement about a bilingual project and an upcoming Kannada theatre release, in addition to an OTT release, which is a new experience for her. Manvita also mentioned her appreciation for the opportunities provided by OTT platforms, noting their ability to reach a wider audience without the constraints of traditional theatrical releases. Reflecting on her career and personal life, she emphasized the support she receives from her husband and his family. Manvita expressed her view on social media and its impact on public perception, acknowledging the need to consider how she presents herself on that platform.During my earlier experiences with interviews, I often felt like I didn't have enough to discuss as news. It's unfortunate that what people see online can be seen as reality, potentially overshadowing the true essence of one's work ethic, dedication, and artistic integrity that might not always be showcased on screen. Despite this, I remain determined not to let negativity impact me. I deeply value the support of my mentors and loyal friends, as well as the unwavering encouragement from my husband, Arun, and his family. Although my mother initially discouraged me from pursuing a career in the film industry, my husband and his parents take a keen interest in my work and cheer on my accomplishments. Reflecting on my career journey, I realize that I was somewhat naïve in the past. However, as I grow both personally and professionally, I've learned to set boundaries and prevent others from undermining my self-confidence. I've taken steps to distance myself from individuals who dampen my spirits. My focus remains on producing meaningful work, and I refuse to allow negativity to diminish my enthusiasm.
